Problem Note 37306: Metadata generation for SAS® Marketing Automation information maps might fail when the subject column has the custom property level=nominal
Metadata generation fails when a data item has the custom attributes level=nominal and UseInSubjectId=Subject_Id_subject-name in a SAS Marketing Automation information map.
To work around the problem, create two data items in the information map from the following field:
- Assign the custom attribute UseInSubjectId=Subject_Id_subject-name to one of the data items.
- Assign the custom attribute level=nominal to the second data item.
The first data item is used as a subject in SAS® Customer Intelligence Studio. The second data item is used in Select nodes for building queries. To avoid confusion in SAS Customer Intelligence Studio, assign different names to the data items in the information map. To avoid confusion in the internally generated SQL, use the custom attribute OutputColumnName=some-new-name on the second data item.
